The origin of a visionary chef

The story of Nadeem Siraj, founder and chef of Tandori Station, is that of a journey between cultures, flavors and passion for authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine.

Born in Pakistan, the son of Indian parents, Nadeem grew up surrounded by aromas and spices that would mark his destiny. Although he studied Electronic Engineering in Australia, his true vocation was born in his mother’s kitchen, from whom he learned what he callsspice math: The art of combining simple ingredients to create complex and balanced flavors.

That learning aroused in him the desire to Show the world the real wealth of Indian gastronomy, beyond the simplified or stereotyped versions that I found in Europe.

His proposal focuses on the use of Traditional tandoor oven. And in a menu that combines currys, tikka masala, naan and regional specialties, always adapted to the palate and tolerance of the spicy of each diner.

The success was immediate: Tandori StationIt was consolidated as the Most recognized Indian restaurant in Madrid, with daily full and an average of 35–40 € per diner.

If you choose this place, I'm totally insured. We ordered the tasting menu for two, very complete and varied. When taking each plate to the table, they detailed their ingredients. In addition, all the service staff are very attentive, fast and polite, taking care of every detail. With a good taste in the mouth to the end (literal, because with the payment of the bill comes an ice cream of complimentary ). PS: You can come with your pet and sit on a terrace. Even with them they are very attentive and friendly, and they serve them water.
